Dear Sir,
First of all let me thank you for your kind presence on the occasion of my marriage. It was a kind gesture on your part. Sir, I am supposed to join my duty on 21st February, 2020 but unfortunately some difficulties have arise as a result of which I will not be able to join my duty on the same day that I mentioned in my application earlier. Hence, I would be much obliged, if you could extend my leave for five more days. I deeply regret the inconvenience caused. Expecting that you will favourably consider my application and thanking you for the same.
